The mission of Grand Isle County Mentoring is to support school youth in achieving their potential through close personal and supportive relationships with caring adults.
Grand Isle County Mentoring envisions a community in which every youth experiences a nurturing one-to-one relationship with a caring adult and community support, which in turn develops in them the power and conviction to make healthy choices.
At Grand Isle County Mentoring, our mentoring pairs meet once a week during the school year to play games, take walks and take on goals/projects together. You often see pairs doing arts and crafts, playing ball, baking cookies all while practicing life/social skills and simply enjoying each others company.
Our dedicated staff & volunteers are passionate about helping young people achieve their full potential. We have a diverse group of individuals with a wide range of skills and experience, all united by a commitment to making a difference in the lives of youth.
